Description

Mary Magdalene pursues amorous adventures and leads a life of complete sexual freedom. According to legend, Mary Magdalene was considered a companion, even mistress of Jesus, and a prostitute at that time. The depiction of Mary Magdalene in the painting shows her naked, arms folded in front of her torso and with an absent look. Her life, marked by passion, is shown in an abstract background, in fiery colors: orange-red.
Techniques: the background I made in my secret technique and painted the central motif Mary Magdalene over it; and integrated so that her figure merges with the background. The hair is painted in places with metallic gold and has a glossy effect.
The painting is covered with a satin finish varnish and is ready to hang.
