My interest in painting began early and deepened through artist-led training in Sweden and abroad. Initially, I devoted myself to oil painting, but soon discovered the many possibilities of watercolor painting, which became my choice for the future. The colors of nature’s seasonal changes inspire me, as does classical music, which is always present in my painting, but also special film experiences are reflected in my art.

The film “Portrait of a Lady” was one such experience that was recognized by Swedish Radio (SR) in 2008 with an interview on Classic Morning/Wish in P2. The watercolor with the same name was published on their website with my music request, Impromptu by Franz Schubert. In December 2011, another watercolor, “Moonlight Walk,” was published on SR’s website Classic Morning, now with the music request “Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata” – which by the way is included in the picture above to the right, taken at my juried exhibition at Rådhushallen, Malmö, in 2011.
