Rubén Ojeda Guzmán (Oaxaca, Mexico, 1991). Artist and curator.
His artistic work stems from writing towards painting, video, and installation and investigates schematic structures of geography, economy, and history. In 2020 he received recognition from air-Montreux, Switzerland. He has had solo exhibitions in that country and in Mexico. He has participated in group exhibitions in the United States, United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, Lebanon, Brazil, and Mexico. He is a contributor to the art criticism magazine (Ex)pulsions in Madrid. He is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Contemporary Art History and Visual Culture at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía.
His works are in the public collections of the air-Montreux Association (Switzerland), the Museo de la Cancillería, the Museo de los Pintores Oaxaqueños and Toledo/INBA (Mexico).
