The English term Elysian was born out of the feeling that the painter/gallery owner Ulrich Goette Himmelblau of ArtDomain.Com-Gallery on the mediterranean island Mallorca, got when seeing Wil’s work. In Greek mythology, Elysian is the name for paradise, to which the heroes immortalized by the gods were sent. This land, borrowed from the Minoϊsche religion, is the land of perfect happiness at the end of the earth on the banks of the Oceanus River….
