A shock, the eyes of a deer,
An entrance to his soul, anxious and curious.
I looked into it and became a deer.
My soul, his soul, one and the same spirit
Amazement embraced me, unease at the same time.
Can I handle this, so much grandeur.
I looked up, I was the trees, the leaves, the clouds.
I rustled like a leaf in the wind, an endless swell.
I was not alone. I was everything.
Later in a disco tent, a wall of sound,
Johnie the Selfkikker. His poem became elusive,
Images flew, my sight turned color, everything turned color,
Moving images that danced around.
A parallel world, unknown and unexplored.
