Under the heading Elysian Scenes, a series of paintings has emerged, the soft colour scheme and the lovely, relaxed composition evoke pleasant, blessed or blissful feelings among the viewer.

The English term Elysian was born out of the feeling that the painter/gallery owner Ulrich Goette Himmelblau of ArtDomain.Com-Gallery on the mediterranean island Mallorca, got when seeing Wil’s work. In Greek mythology, Elysian is the name for paradise, to which the heroes immortalized by the gods were sent.
