I’m Jimmy Groen (he/him, boygender & plural), lives and works from the edges of society — the place where his art begins.
Since 1992, his work grows from a place where childhood never arrived and adulthood never fit. His drive comes from an inner world he still shares with his creative childhood identities, Tim and Alex. Together, they form a continuous inner lineage. Their common work is an act of resistance and persistence: a refusal to disappear. Here they are. They exist. They make.
In 2022, they participated in the All‑in event at the Bonnefantenmuseum Maastricht and the duo exhibition On the Edge at the Lutherse Kerk Maastricht. In 2024,their work was shown at Galerie Anita Fleerackers in Gierle (B).
