No.3 of 7 from a suite of 42 etchings made with either crosshatch or aquatint on copper plates and printed using the chine colle technique. The exposed images are scored through an acid-resist ground on copper plates which are then etched in a ferric chloride solution. The subject of these prints concerns the suggestion of space, perspective and fields partially inspired by the phenomenon of electromagnetism and are based on drawings involving elliptical / sinusoidal geometry.
