The departure of a swan is touches soul every time. Miraculously, it finds the courage to open its wings and the power to rise above the surface of the water. May the work convey to everyone this courage to open their wings and take off towards the new – moving forward. The swan is the national bird of Finland. Therefore, the color tones of the work are blue-gray as well as white. The work is graphic art. The image is etched on copper using etching and aquatint as the method. The work is t.p.l’a printed by the artist herself and the number of the print is 32 /45. The size of the actual image plate is 23.5 cmx12.5 cm, but the actual print is 23.5×31 cm. The signature is below the image area. The work is sold framed to a replacement frame.
