Amazones III

Description

This painting is called Amazones – The battle. I was inspired by a book I read of Simone de Beauvoir about women who were struggling in their lifes. And one sentence was: In Paris, it was evening and it rained and the rain was purple. And so the series The Amazones I, II, and  III was born.
