Zebra Portrait

This zebra portrait was inspired by the striking appearance of this species. I saw a small photo of this zebra looking directly at the viewer. I enjoyed capturing its gaze and rendering its black and white hide. I have managed to bring some warmth into the image, capturing its amber eye and touches of brownish gold in the skin tones.
Description
This is a painterly original using acrylics. The hanging hardware is included, a black traditional bevelled frame with a white inlay, and corded on the reverse of the frame. I always paint using acrylics as I work fast and free. I like the fast drying nature of this medium. Please note the dimensions given are for the framed piece as a whole.
