This limited edition VE-80 Victory in Europe Box Collection is a series of three handmade luxury wooden presentation boxes, designed and crafted in the UK by boxmaker Ian Hawthorne.

Each box measures 300 × 200 × 100mm and is constructed from sycamore with intricate dyed veneers and marquetry, inspired by bold Art Deco wartime poster design. The three designs represent the Allied victory in 1945 — By Air (Airforce), By Sea (Navy) and By Land (Army).

Created as heirloom keepsake and presentation boxes, every piece is fitted with solid engraved copper Neat Elite hinges and lock hardware, lined with faux suede, and made with the precision and permanence of traditional craftsmanship.

These are not decorative objects, but functional bespoke wooden boxes intended to hold medals, documents, jewellery, or personal artefacts of significance. Optional internal trays and fittings can be added, and collectors purchasing the full set will receive a tailored lift-out tray for each box.
