The story of my chambermaid

Here is the portrait of a gentle woman, surrounded by funny and crazy, wild comic figures. A carnival of creativity apparently without much logic. Light blues,  the pink of the skin and the green of the hair are the most prominent colours. The look of this person is thoughtful and everything but superficial, and you wonder what is going on behind and in front of her. Because she is surrounded by these persons, a man, a servant, mice and fish. It’s up to you to put the story together.  

The face  is done in oil, over a collage of news papers with spray paint, the drawings are done with markers. The wide brim is painted with spray paint, which gives the image an urban and modern look

This is a small painting, ideal as a gift for a special person. By itself, or together with 2 or 3 paintings from the same series
