Mildly Depressed

Description

With this painting life gets it’s lightness back.

Despite the title, the emotional layers give full play to the life force of color, spring and bloom.

The painting was created in a series of 8, commissioned by a gallery in the Netherlands, around an exhibition on “ lunacy” (the meaning of lunacy).

The work is based on white gesso, made with acrylic on a canvas of linen. 120 x 100 cm. Each painting comes in a wooden tray frame
