Description

Pose & Emotion: The figure strikes a bold, sweeping pose, with one arm reaching out gracefully and the other bent, hand resting near her head in a gesture of openness or ecstasy. Her legs are positioned mid-stride, giving the impression of movement, as if she is stepping out of the earth and into the wind.
Material & Technique: Crafted entirely from fine wire mesh painted white with a blue accent at the hemline, the sculpture balances transparency and structure. The figure’s form is anatomically elegant, while her flowing hair and “skirt”—made from looser, billowing wire—capture a sense of air and motion.
Dress & Hair: The skirt appears to be caught in the wind, flaring out behind and around her in translucent waves. Her hair, rendered in unruly strands of wire, adds to the wild, free-spirited quality of the figure.
