This oil painting is based on the working Cornish harbour of Porthleven. Every year I get to paint for a week with a small group of artists in a studio and exhibition space which was in a former life, the lifeboat launching station. The studio is built into one of the outer harbour walls in Porthleven, and as you can imagine the space is extraordinary, surrounded by rocks and sea on three sides and extremely atmospheric and inspirational.

The studio is built into one of the outer harbour walls in Porthleven, and as you can imagine the space is extraordinary, surrounded by rocks and sea on three sides and extremely atmospheric and inspirational. Canvas size is 40 x 65 cms, framed in a simple white box frame, framed size is 44 x 69 x 4 cms. This painting is currently in Galleri Soho.
