Gull Island

Description

Gull Island is a very distinctive island close to the shore at Trebarwith Strand in Cornwall in the UK.  I have visited this spot numerous times and tried to paint Gull Island with little success until now.  Part of the painting depicts the island, and the rest is based on the view looking back into the steep enclosed landscape, the telegraph poles, and the pink car that is always parked there with the number plate “Barbie”.  Canvas size is 40.5 x 30.5 cms, framed in a simple white box frame, framed size is 45 x 35 x 4 cms.  This painting is currently in Galleri Soho.
