Autumn landscape no.12

Description

The mountains near Bad Berleburg seemed to be on fire. But it was only the strong light of autumn. I painted quickly in the pleinair. The picture seemed to be finished in 2 hours. But in the studio I saw that it wasn`t finished yet. For three years I tried again and again to finish it. In vain. It didn`t work…and one day I did it unexpectedly.
