Description
Sanam Mosa, is a Swedish artist living in the city of Västerås.
She is an artist that can mix colors, forms, perspectives, and styles to express her delicate feelings and her deep thoughts skillfully. She is an expressionist and creates art with Picasso-like angles and perspectives, Dalí’s imaginative forms, the shapes of Van Gogh, and Paul Gauguin’s sense of colors. Her paintings have rhythm and balance that give the viewer an appealing perspective of understanding her imaginary world. One can clearly see her intentional use of strong colors and distortion of shapes to create her speaking art.
With her creations, Sanam intends to give her thoughts a physical existence with texture, depth, colors, and strokes as footprints in her story created by her hands.
Sanam says: “I have never been able to express my thoughts and feelings with words.
My paintings are my emotive stories!
The letters in my words are the different colors, shapes, and lines I use when I paint.
My purpose is to move people when they look at my paintings and give them the space to interpret what they see so they may enrich their existence.”
Sanam was born in Persia in 1982 and lived there until 2006. She studied art and has a university degree in graphical design.
Most importantly, Sanam learned valuable lessons by opposing living in oppressive and unjust conditions while having a creative soul searching for freedom of expression. Growing up and living in Iran as a woman requires bravery and strength, and she has a degree in that as well.
