Sagarmatha

I had the chance to contemplate this majestic mountain twice, once in Nepal, another time from Darjeeling in Bengal.The true story of the first man who reached the top, it wasn’t Mr Everest. He couldn’t climb more as his body was suffering from frozen members. It was his guide, Sherpa Tenzing who could reach the roof of the world. But colonialists British preferred the legend to belong to an English. This artwork is an homage to this transcendental beauty.
