Midsummer

Description

…it’s that moment when you feel the heat in midsummer, when you walk in your garden and see if the birds have water and if they need anything done. The painting, like the photograph, is simply a moment paused.
on the painting also has a large jug for flowers in the foreground, which is of course an obvious hint at the artist’s own passion for ceramics.
